Ministry of Health and DST Managed Service Sdn Bhd (DMS) Sign Agreement for The Provision of Manpower
The Ministry of Health (MOH) and DST Managed Services Sdn Bhd (DMS) held a signing ceremony to formalise their agreement for The Provision of Manpower for Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Unit.
The signing ceremony was held on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, at Mutiara Exchange, Tungku Highway with Yang Berhormat, Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Md Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as the Guest of Honour.
Signatories representing from MOH on the signing agreement were Yang Mulia Dr Dyg Hajah Rafidah binti Haji Gharif, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Professional) as Acting Permanent Secretary and Yang Mulia Pengiran Mohammad Khiruddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusoff, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Management) from MOH as the witness. Representing for DMS the signatories were Yang Mulia Awang Ahmad Jefri bin Abdul Rahman, Chairman of DMS and Yang Mulia Yang Mulia Osmali Bin Othman, DMS Chief Executive Officer as the witness.
The collaboration between MOH and DMS represents a significant step forward in advancing health, safety, and environment standards. By leveraging professional expertise, the partnership enables hospitals and clinics to reinforce safety protocols, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, and cultivate a culture of safety. This collective effort benefits patients, staff, and the wider community by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, mitigating risks, and enhancing the overall quality of care.
Under the three-year project, a total of twenty-two DMS personnel are currently supporting the MOH HSE Unit. This initiative underscores MOH’s commitment to strengthening workplace safety, health monitoring, and environmental management across the nation’s healthcare facilities.
DMS has supported the Ministry through a one plus one-year arrangement, deploying six personnel to assist the MOH HSE Unit in developing healthcare HSE policies and standard operating procedures. Building on these positive outcomes, the new agreement reflects the continued confidence in DMS’s services and the shared goal of fostering a safe healthcare ecosystem.
The event was attended by senior government officials from MOH, alongside members of the DMS Senior Management Team and the project team.
