DMS REPRESENTATIVE SHARES INSIGHTS AT 1ST NATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR PERSONS WITH DIFFERENT ABILITIES
11th June 2025, Bandar Seri Begawan — DST Managed Services Sdn Bhd (DMS) proudly participated in the 1st National Conference for Persons with Different Abilities, held on 10th and 11th June 2025 at the International Convention Centre, Berakas.
Representing DMS, Dr Shamsulbaharin Hj Abd Rahman, Head of Talent Development (Learning Hub), was invited as one of the panel speakers during the Spotlight: Success Stories of Hiring Persons with Different Abilities (PWDs) session on the second day of the conference. Sharing DMS’s experience and commitment to creating an inclusive work environment, Dr Shamsulbaharin highlighted the company’s ongoing efforts in providing opportunities, support, and career development for individuals with different abilities.
The conference, organised by the Council for the Welfare of Persons with Different Abilities (MKOKU) in collaboration with the Brunei Youth Council and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, gathered over 200 participants including policymakers, educators, caregivers, industry players, and representatives from various organisations.
Throughout the two-day event, speakers and panelists from both local and international organisations exchanged insights on inclusive education, employment, technology empowerment, and community integration for PWDs, aimed at promoting a more inclusive society in Brunei Darussalam.
