THE FIRST MANAGED SERVICE COMPANY IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM - DMS 

Thursday, August 8, 2024 – DMS was officially launched today, introducing a suite of innovative solutions and corporate services designed to drive efficiency, productivity, and innovation for businesses. The launch event, held at Songket Hall, Rizqun International Hotel, marked the beginning of DMS’s mission to empower businesses with advanced technology, operational excellence, and extensive business support services. 

The launch event featured two sessions. The guest of honour for the morning event was Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister Of Finance And Economy (Economy), in his capacity as Chief Executive Officer of Darussalam Assets. 

The morning session was attended by DMS staff and internal stakeholders. The event began with the recitation of Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Imam Rosli bin Hj Ladis,  to bless that morning’s event. 

The welcoming remarks delivered by Yang Mulia Awang Ahmad Jefri bin Abd Rahman, Chairman of DMS, highlighted the company’s foundation, built on over 20 years of experience across various fields. He acknowledged the specialised skills of each staff member in providing comprehensive and tailored services to meet the diverse needs of clients across industries. 

The highlight of the event, the unveiling of the company’s logo and corporate video was executed by the Guest of Honour that morning.

The event continued with two signing ceremonies, witnessed by the Guest of Honour. The first signing, a Co-Operation Agreement  was signed between DMS and Deloitte & Touche (Brunei). DMS signatories were represented by Yang Mulia Puan Hajah Nor Azura Haji Mohd Tahir, DMS Covering Chief Executive Officer and Yang Mulia Awang Haji Amer Iskandar Zakaria, Head of Operational Excellence (OpEx) while Deloitte & Touche (Brunei) was represented by Yang Mulia Dayang Hjh Siti Khadijah Pengirah Haji Moksin and Yang Mulia Awang Haji Azmi Abdul Rahman Ibrahim. This agreement draws on the collective strengths of both companies to ensure the best solutions for clients.

The second signing ceremony was with Comquest Sdn Bhd on a Collaboration Agreement. DMS was represented by Yang Mulia Puan Hajah Nor Azura Haji Mohd Tahir, DMS Covering Chief Executive Officer and witnessed by Yang Mulia Haji Maidi Haji Sanif as Head of Technology and Transformation Solutions, and Comquest Sdn Bhd represented by Mr. Guarav Shotriya, General Manager and witnessed by Hjh Juridah Maidin, Operations Manager. This collaboration between DMS and Comquest Sdn Bhd aims to explore and seize new opportunities together, driving both companies to propel forward.

The guests of honour and invited guests to the event were then invited to view a gallery presentation on the company’s service offerings showcased at the event. 

During the afternoon session, corporate clients and key external stakeholders were introduced to DMS’s services. Yang Mulia Awang Ahmad Jefri bin Abd Rahman, Chairman of DMS, gave the welcoming remarks to the attendees and introduced DMS’s suite of services by unveiling the company’s logo and corporate video.

Another signing ceremony took place with the DMS Chairman witnessing the  Management Service Agreement between DMS and Artisan Abadi Sdn Bhd (formally known as Mahkota Crystal Sdn Bhd) which is in support of its operation. DMS was represented by Yang Mulia Puan Hajah Nor Azura Haji Mohd Tahir, DMS Covering Chief Executive Officer and witnessed by Yang Mulia Awang Haji Amer Iskandar Zakaria , while Artisan Abadi was represented by Yang Mulia Puan Nur Izzati Binti Azahari, Director of Artisan Abadi Sdn Bhd and witnessed By Dayang Nur E’zzati Haji Muhammad Hasbi, Investment Associate of Darussalam Assets

Attendees then visited and interacted with detailed presentations on DMS’s technology, operational, and business support solutions presented by DMS staff.

Minister of Health Visits DMS Booth at the International NCD Exhibition and Conference 2025

Berakas – The Minister of Health, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar who was the Guest of Honour accompanied by MoH’s entourage visited the DMS booth and other booth vendors during the inauguration ceremony of the International NCD Scientific Conference 2025 as part of the International NCD Exhibition and Conference 2025 program, held at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas. 

During the visit, Yang Berhormat was welcomed by representatives from DMS) and briefed on DMS’s Smart Solutions and services, presented in collaboration with Incomm. The showcase demonstrated how DMS leverages technology and innovation to support national health initiatives through sustainable, data-driven, and connected workplace solutions. Yang Berhormat also signed a guest book at DMS booth follow by a group photo session with DMS’s Sales team.  

 Visitors to the booth were also invited to participate in a free Business Assessment, providing organizations with insights into improving operational efficiency and productivity through customized digital strategies. 

 The NCD Exhibition and Conference is the first jointly organized co-led by the Ministry of Health, Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) and Gleneagles JPMC started from 8th to 12th October 2025. The event brings together healthcare professionals, businesses, and community partners to promote awareness of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and encourage collaboration in health and wellness innovation. 

 DMS is honored to take part in this national initiative and remains committed to contributing to the country’s digital transformation and workplace wellness goals. 

MOH Acting Permanent Secretary Visits DMS Booth at the International NCD Exhibition and Conference 2025

Berakas – The Ministry of Health’s Acting Permanent Secretary, Yang Mulia Dr Hjh Rafidah binti Gharif, visited the DMS booth during the International NCD Exhibition and Conference 2025, held at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas. 

During the visit, Yang Mulia Dr Hjh Rafidah was briefed by representatives from DMS (DST Managed Services Sdn Bhd) on the company’s Smart Solutions and Services, presented in collaboration with INCOMM. The showcase highlighted how DMS’s innovative digital and managed service solutions contribute to supporting national health initiatives, particularly in promoting workplace efficiency, connectivity, and sustainability. 

The five-day event, which runs from 8th to 12th October 2025, is organised by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) and Gleneagles JPMC. It aims to strengthen public awareness on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) while fostering partnerships across healthcare, business, and technology sectors.

Hari Raya open house strengthens ties with partners, clients

DST Managed Services Sdn Bhd held a Hari Raya open house yesterday gathering stakeholders, clients and partners.

DMS Chairman Ahmad Jefri bin Abdul Rahman attended the event. Hajah Nor Azura binti Haji Mohd Tahir, who covered DMS chief executive officer and DMS Chief Commercial Officer Cynthia Lim, welcomed the guests. – Fadley Faisal

DMS Takes Part in Nation’s Maulidur Rasul Celebration 

September 6, 2025

The Maulidur Rasul Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam’ Procession in celebration of 1447 Hijrah was held at Taman SOAS, Bandar Seri Begawan, on Saturday, 6 September 2025. His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, consented to lead the procession, accompanied by members of the Royal Family, covering 1.9 kilometres around the capital. 

This year marked the first participation of DMS in the Maulidur Rasul celebration. The contingent was led by Dr Shamsulbaharin Hj Abd Rahman, Head of Talent Development (Learning Hub) joining 95 contingents across five categories: ministries, educations from higher learning institutions, secondary schools, Arabic schools and private schools, village consultative councils, mosque committees, associations and the private sector.   

 The programme also featured Dikir Marhaban, the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, and a 21-gun salute to signify the commencement of the procession. This year's celebration carries the theme “Rasulullah Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam Adalah Teladan Keluarga Sakinah, Mawaddah Warahmah."
